GB Operator (PC based GB/GBC/GBA Cartridge Reader/Player) with Gameplay + GBA Anniversary
GB OPERATOR promises to let you play and manage Game Boy cartridges on your computer. It supports Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games. It dumps games images as well as saves and allows you to copy save files back up to the cartridge.
The concept is to turn your PC into a Game Boy Console. How well does it work? Let's find out together!
There is a LOT to see in this video; I recommend using the Chapter Jumps below to find the content you want and jump around what you may not be interested in. The lack of first party Ninty titles is by design. They are not keen on emulation of their titles.
Note: Since the software is still beta, I won't give it a final score in terms of "emulation features". There is very little in the way of "advanced emulation" options (palettes, filters, cheats, save states, etc) but I wager that the software will mature over time. I will release new videos if and when the software matures.
