SN: Terribly sorry for how late this turned up as this was supposed be a St. Patrick’s Day gift for one of my friends, Blaine Angelo, yet as it was going to be a late one. Apparently, I ran into a few bumps and got a little lost to head back into the actual right track of mind. Another words, it’s been a bit of tough break for me as there’s been a few things I had to handle.
And one of them is where I’ve put myself in a situation as dealing with one of the biggest, obnoxious jerks of YT who has a real problem with the main female cast of Darkstalkers and its concept.
Plus, I had to prepare for my neighbor’s (also, my father’s friend) birthday, which was a few days ago as I went with my parents to have dinner with him and his families to celebrate. In addition, there was a competition in Fortnite, featuring the returning character: Midas as part of the “Rise of Midas Cup” that happened back on the 24th.
Decided to participate as hoping to finally unlock him for free, along w/other bonus rewards (it was a freakin’ nightmare with the cheap, sweat players as others claim as another of those “Sweat Fest”) I only made so far as tried 10 times and only made it as far with only 30 pts.
Yeah, I never made it straight up with 200 points; especially won any single Victory Royale to finally have him for free; along w/other rewards (at least it was real nice for Epic Games to give me 950 v-bucks for free and unlock his loading screen as a token for trying, so it’s all good 👌 ).
Anyway, I hope this long GBA gameplay of Daredevil will be best-served set of gold coins from the pot at the end of the rainbow for you Blaine and also for everyone else. Thank you and enjoy the show.
Hello, everybody! Here’s a long gameplay of Daredevil for the Game Boy Advance, requested by Blaine Angelo20. This game is based on the live-action Marvel film, “Daredevil” with Ben Affleck as the central character: Matt Murdock aka “Daredevil,” Jennifer Garner as Elektra Natchios aka “Elektra,” Colin Farrell as Bullseye and Michael Clarke Duncan as Wilson Fisk aka “Kingpin,” directed by Mark Steven Johnson and owned by 20th Century Fox in 2003.
This game came out the same year as the film in 2003 that was created by Griptonite Games (Glu Mobile LLC) and published by Encore Software or “Encore” and THQ.
As it’s tie-in with the film as introducing some of the characters from the Daredevil comics: Stick (Matt’s blind master and head of Chaste, who taught both Matt and Elektra as how they became crime fighter vigilantes), Kirigi (a ninja assassin that heavily associated with the Hand and his clan) and Maya Lopez aka “Echo” (the adopted daughter of Wilson Fisk, who’s also to be a female rival and enemy to Daredevil, but later became a supporting character to him that had a deep interest in him).
Stick & Kirigi are exclusive to the film, except a solo spin-off one with Garner’s character, “Elektra.”
Needless to say about this game in terms of gameplay and its difficulty standard. It’s much difficult than Spider-Man on the Game Boy Color (mostly it’s the combat system, as for the graphics & its color, plot and the soundtrack is excellent).
Gotta love the comic book/Adam West’s Batman-style onomatopoeia text effect that shows after defeating an enemy with the attack technique.
The hit detection are kind of bad as you have to position your DD character correctly on where you have to throw your punches, kicks, combos, etc. The baton cane is also slow, yet it does major damage (pretty useful for strong defensive enemies & bosses, later on).
There are items that are scattered in each level like Daredevil tokens, super strength, health, extra life, armor, etc. Even though, there are certain ones that are invisible, which you’ll have to use your special thermal devil senses (also have to use for one of the bosses like Echo when fighting her) to spot the hidden items.
I did pretty good at the beginning, but those street thugs with the bat were starting to be such a pain. The huge biker thug sure takes a hell of a beating as he has more health than the regular street thugs. Kinda screwed up at 8:17, when I try to jump onto that rooftop; only by doing an aerial kick as I missed and fell.
Second try was better, except I kept getting my ass whooped by the bat and shooter thugs. The traffic battle was quite enjoyable, except picking up items in the air; especially if being obscured by Rig trailers. Hate the boomer thugs who kept tossing grenades in my face, while trying to come up at them.
And it was pretty hilarious at the end when I got punched away to my goal finishing point from the big biker dude as that cleared the level quick, lol!
