The way the game plays at the lower costs is a very stark contrast to the higher costs with a far greater focus on using what few tools you have as effectively as possible, it leads to a far simpler form of combat with an almost reliance on your allies and being able to effectively trade hits.
Nothing embodies the simplicity better than the FS as it has certain basic tools that most generals have simply not there and has to depend on manoeuvre armour to close in or avoid stuns and the simple stun into melee while having both grenades and the most perthitic set of vulcans to round out it's kit letting it chip or finish low health targets while either retreating or pursuing.
