Gears 5 - PC vs Xbox One X Comparison in 4K
In this video I make a short graphical comparison of the PC version of Gears of War 5 with the Xbox One X version. I played and recorded both versions with 4K resolution. The textures look the same to me, but my GTX 1070 sometimes had problems during fights (the rest of my rig: Samsung SSDs, Xeon E3 1231 v3, 16GB RAM). The Xbox One X version, on the other hand, is optimized for the Xbox hardware. If you have the choice, I would personally recommend the Xbox One X version, even if it sometimes looks as if there is a grey veil over the Xbox-footage in my video. But this seems to be more of a problem with my Elgato recording card than a performance-friendly "fog", because I didn't notice it while playing. With a more powerful graphics card, you can of course also dedicate yourself to the PC version in 4K. In 1080p there are no problems with a GTX 1070 anyway. Apart from the somewhat more demanding graphics, the mouse control is an argument for the PC version.
