Gears of War: Judgment represents a set of challenges for Epic Studios. It's the first Gears of War game released after a series of high-profile departures from the studio. It's the first Gears of War game developed by the staff of People Can Fly, formerly of the Painkiller series and 2011's raunchy first person shooter Bulletstorm.
