In this video, I test the performance, FPS, and overall gameplay experience of this remaster while running it at 720p with FSR 3.1 in performance mode and all settings on low. Can this near 20-year-old classic remaster really run smoothly without a dedicated GPU? Surprisingly, yes! I managed to get around 30–40 FPS, making it totally playable on a budget system.
Alongside the performance test, I also share my gameplay review of Gears of War: Reloaded, covering the campaign, multiplayer, and whether this remaster is worth the $40 price tag. While the campaign still delivers that iconic cover-shooter thrill and nostalgic chainsaw action, the multiplayer needs more polish, and many fans are questioning why only Gears 1 was remade instead of the full trilogy. Still, for newcomers and anyone looking to relive the glory days, this is a solid entry point.
