We return to the regular Geektown Radio podcast this week, and I have with me Robert from Entertainment Talk, who joins me to chat through the last week on UK and US TV, along with the usual news and UK TV air dates!
We begin by reviewing the last week in tv, film and gaming. Robert chats about the recent changes to the zombie game, '7 Days To Die', and also the interesting concept of 'Unpacking', a zen puzzle game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. He also gives us his spoiler-free thoughts on 'Spider-man: No Way Home', and we both discuss 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' which has recently arrived in the UK and US on home release. Meanwhile, I talk through the finale of 'The Expanse', and reaching the end of my run through brilliant BBC comedy 'Ghosts'. I also give some brief spoiler-free thoughts on new HBO Max series 'Peacemaker', and discuss the third and final season of Ricky Gervais series 'After Life'.
Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. We also chat about Tim Allen becoming Santa once again, Timothy Olyphant returning to 'Justified', and The CW working on a new Arrowverse show. Lastly, we delve into the possible return of the brilliant sci-fi 'Quantum Leap', as NBC orders a pilot.
