It's 2022 and we are back with our first Geektown Radio podcast of the year! Joining me are Matt from Entertainment Talk, and our film reviewer Gray, as we chat through our last few weeks on UK TV, along with some tv news and UK TV air dates, and the results of the 10th Annual Geektown Awards!
We begin by chatting through some of the tv shows and films we have been watching, and games we've been playing over the holidays. Matt talks through playing through the game 'It Takes Two' with his mum, and also the Netflix film 'Don’t Look Up'. Gray gives us his thoughts on Peacock series 'Girls5eva', Netflix drama 'Stay Close', and gives us his film of the month for December. Meanwhile, I chat through 'The Matrix Resurrections', give my first impressions of 'Wheel Of Time', and chat 'Around the World in 80 Days'.
Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. However, most of this week is taken up with us chatting through the category winners for the 10th Annual Geektown Awards. We not only talk through the shows which took the top spots, but also give a bit more information about where some of the other series and films ranked in the lists. In addition to the main awards, we also exclusively reveal what you voted for as your Top Ten TV Series Of All Time.
