We're going to be taking a look at the rumored specs and images of Nvidia's latest Pascal powered card, the GTX 1060 which uses the GP106 core. The GTX 1060 supposedly features 1280 CUDA cores at a minimum, and uses 6GB or 3GB (depending on the model) of GDDR5 RAM.
The GTX 1060 hasn't got a firm release date, only that Nvidia want the new geforce card to compete with the upcoming RX 480 which is released in the next day or two.
Speaking of the RX 480, further benchmarks of the RX 480 appear thanks to a polish magazine by the name of CD Action. CD Action's benchmarks of the Polaris Radeon RX 480 are missing the driver revision, which is a shame, but put the card on a rough performance par with a heavily overclocked 380X or an overclocked GTX 970.
The RX 480, RX 470 and finally RX460 will see a release over the next few days, with AMD telling retail partners there will be an ample supply of cards for retail customers.
