In this video, Gem Stone Legend, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Loriciel.
The evil wizard Vangor wants to bring Kohi under his rule. But you, brave knight of birds, and your Magus oppose him. To defeat Vangor your Magus gives you the secrets of the stone and how to destroy it. You take the stone and promise to carry out your mission well.
The game is a side-scrolling arcade shooter, in which you have to eliminate flying enemies by shooting them with the fireballs of the bird you ride. The style of fireballs can be improved by collecting power-ups. Pressing the fire button for a longer time also increases the power of the fireballs. There are five levels in the game which can be played in solo or duo cooperative.
The graphics, scrolling and audio are ok. Playability wise, IMHO, I found it hard to play and also a little boring.
Here you'll find intro and gameplay with life cheating because I've found it hard to play and therefore have enough material for video editing.
