Hello young warrior! Welcome back to my E12 series. Today I am providing you a very suitable E12 deck for beginners featuring campaign mythic Fountain of Stars. If you are more experienced user, a link of faster team with few changes can be found at the bottom of description. Let's get into it, shall we!

In the 1st position we use Sunspear hero with legendary weapon from Broken Spire, "Flammifer." Flammifer can be replaced with Urskayan Crown or basically any other weapon which creates some sort of mana gaining situations. Mountain Crusher, Dragon's Eye, you name it. We use Flammifer for few reason. It deals damage and creates 10 red gems. As we are using Sunspear, the board will be flooded with red gems when we "refresh" the board, which helps gain mana to our new mythic and also help with alignments using our other skull creator. Flammifer also Burns the 1st enemy, so if your Sunspear is maxed, your hero will deal triple skull damage if you pick the level 100 Fireblade talent. Sunspear also provides Snap Freeze and Root Trap on very early level stages so it suits beginners very well even if your isn't level 100 yet.

2nd position goes to the new campaign mythic from Bright Forest. "Fountain of Stars" converts 5 Green Gems to Purple Potions and converts all Brown Gems to base Skulls + Cleanses all Fey Allies. This is very interesting concept to the normal skull conversion what we are used to. The creation of purple potions allow us to loop very succesfully and it creates almost a slotmachine kind of feeling at times haha! This troop also has nice traits, especially the last trait which has 15% chance to Bless all Allies when your turn begins. In theory this cleanses all your allies unless they are under Curse spell. This trait triggered quite often in my test runs. Okay, so this just creates skulls and purple potions. How do we make this ACTUALLY effective?

3rd position is our "main" damage dealer here. Legendary troop from Primal Rift faction, enter "Alderfather." Alderfather can be quite easily obtained by opening Portals in Primal Rift faction using your Chaos Shards. He converts Red Gems to Purple and Yellow Gems to base Skulls, and if you have lost a troop he will replace the empty slot by summoning a Treant or Green Golem. However the best thing in this troop is his 3rd trait. He entangles a random enemy when you match Purple gems. Do you see where I am going? When Fountain of Stars creates purple potions, which will be quite easily matched because the board will more than often have lots of purple and only few green gems (which are converted to purple potions), most if not all enemies are constantly entangled. And then, when hero is using Sunspear class, red gems will fill board a lot of times. As Alderfather converts red gems to purple, this will create very loopable situations and you will be able to keep your turn, and do skull damage when occasionally refreshing the board using Flammifer or 4th troop below.

Last slot goes to good ol' Leprechaun. Leprechaun is our kick starter in this deck as he is empowered (starts with full mana) and explodes green gems. He can also be used to refresh the board if you end up with bad alignments or otherwise just, you know, wannna explode stuff lol.

In summary, we have:
- Constant red storm- Almost constant enemy entangle
- 15% chance to "cleanse" all allies- Almost constant alignments to keep our turn
- Summoning options
- Skull damage reductions
- Snap Freeze and Root Trap at the start of the battle
- Exploding option for tough situations
- More than often maxed gold amount because of SO MANY extra turns.

This is very good team to do those E12 battles and learn to memorize alignments and do it safely. No high magic or other high stats are required.

Deck mechanics:
Cast Leprechaun to flood the board with red gems.
Fill up Flammifer and cast it to generate mana for Fountain of Stars.
Alternatively, fill up Alderfather and start the looping process.
When Fountain of Stars is filled, look for green gems and how many there are. FoS will convert FIVE green gems to purple potions. so if there aren't many green gems and they align with purple gems, you are safe to cast FoS as those purple potions when matched will create extra turns with purple gems and fill up Alderfather, who then can loop with either skull alignments OR usually with red to purple alignments.
Use Leprechaun to refresh board.
Use Flammifer to create red gems on board (and to Burn 1st enemy.)

For more experienced users, I tried this setup with maxed Slayer class and used Thrall instead Leprechaun. Link below:
