Gems of War - Mythical Creature Trophy: The "Easy" Way, Requires A LOT of Glory (PS4 Gameplay)
Mythical Creature - Ascend a troop to Mythic.
So, if you want to ascend a troop to the Mythic status, you are going to need a bunch of extras of that troop to sacrifice for the ascension. The amount of extras needed depends on the troop's original rarity. Every time you ascend a troop, the amount of troops needed to ascend it again increases. The increase amounts are as follows:
First Ascension: 5 Troops
Second Ascension: 10 Troops
Third Ascension: 25 Troops
Fourth Ascension: 50 Troops
Fifth Ascension: 100 Troops
In other words, upgrading a troop (from default rarity) to Mythic will cost:
Common: 190
Rare: 90
Ultra Rare: 40
Epic: 15
Legendary: 5
It's all down to luck as to what troops you get when you open chests. (And I'm not even going to go into getting troops from the Arena.) The only sure-fire method I have seen to unsure that you get the same troop every time is to buy that week's "Event" troop with Glory. If you are going to go that route, (like I did in this video), you will need to plan accordingly to make sure you are able to purchase enough of the troop to get it to Mythic. Don't forget that you will need enough troops for the Ascension PLUS the base troop that will be getting the Ascension. For example, if the troop for sale is an Epic, you will need 16, not just the 15 for the Ascension, but the base troop as well. Be sure to double check your math on how much Glory you need BEFORE you start buying. The last thing you want is to not have enough Glory to buy that last troop.
