I only played the demo version here, so I wasn't able to play in my own town, but if it's anything like the rendering of Australia that I did get to play, this is a very impressive piece of programming from an independent developer. the gameplay itself was quite limited, but I can imagine it feels a lot more engaging when you're waging intergalactic war in your own city!!
