Video Description:
This video was mainly made to see if you all would want to see more of this game on my channel. I was given access to the game before the public release by the devs and have been looking forward to playing this for a while now, so I wanted to get a feel for if my subscribers/viewers would want to see more of it moving forward. After playing the game for a bit, I also wanted to explain some of the basic mechanics and things about the gameplay as some of them aren't really complicated but may catch some by surprise. There's also a few things that I thought some people may find really interesting, I was particularly drawn to the cloning side of things myself. Game Overview:
Genesis Alpha One is a first-person shooter style game which attempts to blend things like base building, survival mechanics, space exploration, and roguelike gameplay into one package. The idea is that you assemble a team of characters to try and explore a randomly generated galaxy (or at least a section of it) in the hopes of finding a new planet to turn into essentially an Earth 2. Along the way you have to build and expand your ship and crew by exploring other planets, asteroids, debris, etc. for resources.
