Personally, I prefer the model that I had as a kid; I had a Model 1 without the TMSS, which was unfortunately traded as a teen for a different one; in the box. Now I have the same (original model) again, with a few imperfections. The one in the box is perfect but it boots with the "license" screen. The new one does not have that (TMSS) screen. Realistically, if it were not so cheap (with all cables and Sonic 2), I would not have considered it, but it was so I got it.
