Genetos is a shmup developed by Tatsuya Koyama.

The game gives you a lot of lives to work with. You'll be surprise how easy it is to lose them all if you don't play carefully.

I've been wanting to upload a Genetos run for quite a bit now. The only thing that stopped me from doing so is my 9 million run having desync issues. I had quite a bit of dumb moments in this run.

I don't know how scoring works. I believe its a combination of stock bonuses as well as maintaining the hit counter that shows up whenever you use a special weapon or bomb. Whatever I was doing is apparently good enough for a Rank S in the result screen. Not sure if that is good.

For summoning bosses, I believe the requirement is to collect 10 DNAs. I don't really know what this mean except possibly referring to the special green pickups, lives, and bombs. Supposedly, there is another green pick up aside from the one I got in stage 1, but I don't know how to get to it.

This is live play, by the way. I didn't want to risk having a run desync on me. At least ffmpeg can record this fullscreen. I'll probably attempt creator later.
