8TLB clear of this game. Pretty rough as I sort of screwed up a lot on the TLB. I'd like to think the practice I did still helped. Just typical mistakes I do in an actual run due to the tension.
I noticed the video file I have had some flashing images in it (flashes of black, notably in the ZUN fight when going through the recording) so keep that in mind. I guess I should just stick to window mode recording of this. Just minor issues to work with when using ffmpeg. Last time I saw flashes like that was in my Score Soldier Winter Festival 2004 counterstop and I was recording fullscreen in that.
Probably should discuss some of the mechanics. If you graze, you fill up the meter on the right. After a certain point, you can auto-collect stuff and it seems staying in that state you also get extends. I've read that you die if you graze too much (or collect too much items), but I think I'm playing a little too defensively for that to happen to me. I may see that more if I attempt the harder difficulty of this game. If you are familiar with Kaikan, you can auto-collect by releasing the shot button. Its kind of the same concept anyway.
I did have some bad desyncs when recording this windowed. I honestly don't know what causes the replay to desync at times. I have seen most of my desyncs happen on stage 1. Oddly enough, I haven't seen any on stage 6 yet.
