First time playing Genji: Dawn Of The Samurai.

This is one of those pre Souls games or rather a Onimusha - like game. This one has made a great first impression on me, the gameplay feels very sound. There's also unique twists like the option to spend (super?) meter to chain parry - while having a more riskier & traditional parry window available without meter.

The combat has intriguing layers to it, although the game itself isn't too difficult yet. I've read that there's an unlockable hard mode after beating the game so we'll see if that changes things.

The biggest issue so far is a few moments of emu lag between cutscenes & specific areas.
