Genshin Impact - Part 16 - Learning about Xiangling
2Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.
We are starting off by heading back to the cathedral to finally get our gliding licence from Amber. Once inside we are greeted by Amber who tells up she's signed us up for the next wind gliding championship. This sounds like fun to race Amber in the future.
We the select a new quest to meet a girl in the forest, it turns out this girl is no other than our team mate Xiangling . It was lovely to be able to learn more about her and where she comes from within this world. We find out that Xiangling is an amazing chef and absolutely loves food. She's trying to catch some of the boars in the area to try out some new cooking skills with the raw meat. However this causing a problem with the local hunting team and there leader wants to speak with Xiangling . We head in to Springvale with Xiangling to hopefully get this sorted out. Draff would like Xiangling to help promote the meat in the area and spread the word about this small town.
Xiangling declines the offer as she likes to mix unusual items with her food to make them more interesting and unique. On our way out of the city Xiangling gets a smell of someone cooking. We meet a cook in Springvale who is working hard to provide top service for her customers. Xiangling and Brook get into a debate about how to cook the meat. After sometime debating about how to cook the meat a cook-off is declared.
Our new objective is to now help Xiangling find some ingredients for the cook-off. This is going to be one exciting event. On our way to help Xiangling we also come across one of the purple events in the world. This gets us in touch with a young girl who has a small quest for us. Strangely she wants to get close to one of the enemies camps. I thought this seemed a little dangerous but she really wants to speak with the Hilichurl. We creep up to them slowly and the girl begins to have a conversation with the enemy. To mu surprise we are not attacked and after they are finished the Hilichurl starts to dance.
