Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.

We are starting up a new quest line today that involves Xiao. We find some unusual looking hilichurls who seems to be a little stronger than normal ones. We see a guy in the mask who is able to chase them away. This person seems to be wearing a mask like Xiao, they also claim to be an Adepti. They introduce themselves as the Starsnatcher. After speaking to Starsnatcher followers there seems to be something funny going on here.

Starsnatcher offers us a wish, but in return we must prove our faith is real. Paimon comes up with the idea of making a tasty snack as we are not handing over any mora. We go to Liyue to look for a new cook book that will have a tasty snack inside. Whilst at this book store we bump in to Starsnatcher buying a book about the Adepti, why would they want this book?

We buy a copy of the same book and are told a story of ancient times in Liyue. We learn Rex Lapis summoned the Yaksha to restore order through battle. Eventually they turned on each other and death came to 3 and the 4th went missing. One conqueror of demons still remains, there is so much suffering in this story. What does Starsnatcher want with this book?

We head back to Starsnatcher and see he's trying to make some hilichurls flee, but it does not seem to be working. We find that Startsnatcher is using a sigil of permission, this is what is making the hilichurls run away.

We follow the hilichurls and run into Xiao who has already put a stop to the hilichurls. Paimon recalls that Xiao is a Yaksha and it the last one. Xiao has had to deal with all the suffering along, untill now. Xiao expects our help to take down the hilichurls.

We head to a cave together and once inside we are able to play as Xiao to attack the enemies. Xiao uses a spear and his abilities to manoeuvre around. Xiao learns about Startsnatcher and confirms they are a fake. Paimon tells Xiao everything that is going on and Xiao is not happy about this. Xiao wants to take the sigil of permission from Startsnatcher.

Xiao tells us about a ritual that he is able to preform to summon Startsnatcher to a certain spot. We need to put a stop to what Startsnatcher is doing before it causes more problems.
