Haven - Part10 - Contacting the Apiary
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Haven on the Xbox series X.
Kay and Yu continue exploring to look for part to restore the nest. Whilst out exploring we come across a large vid-chat. This will allow us to contact the Apiary and speak with Erena. We head over to the Vid - chat to see if it still works and to our surprise it does!
We call through to the Apiary and speak with Erena who is Yu's mother. At first she seems concerned about us, but they she tells us about the drones that have been sent to attack us. Apparently us leaving the Apiary we have become a symbol and others are talking about leaving as well. This will allow others to start a new live against the matchmaker. The Apiary seems to have done a lot of dirty business and not told the people about it. The Apiary sent a drill to collect flow from the planets core and it was unstable and this broke the planet into pieces. Most of the people who worked on source were able to make it off in time but not everyone. Erena then tries to get us to return and be put through the matchmaker, this means we will lose each other.
We are not going to give everything up and return to the Apiary, we head straight home to the nest. We have been given a lot of information about this planet and what happened. How could they hide this all from everyone. We find out that a powerful person at the Apiary called Ozias was the person who was matched to be Yu's partner. This causes some tension between Kay and Yu and everything turns into an argument.
After sleeping on everything that happens Kay wakes up and starts looking for Yu but she is nowhere to be found. Kay is still really beaten up about what happened and still does not want to do anything, but we head outside to find Yu. Yu has taken the radar with her so we also now don't have a map, Kay heads out looking to find Yu. After some time looking Kays worry grows, there is also another earthquake. We need to find Yu quickly.
Kay thinks Yu might have gone to use the Vid-chat again to speak with someone after the argument. We rush there and find Yu, the earthquake has caused the planet to break up again and we are now separated. Kay and Yu are able to make up quickly they love each other too much to stay mad at each other. We now have to play as Yu to try and find our way back together.
