new 3rd hardest i believe! (this is really close to karma in difficulty but i think this edges it out just by a bit because i am worse at straightfly) i got quite lucky as i managed to fluke from 70, but i also got super unlucky because i didn't realize i had switched to practice mode until i had beaten it from 0. whatever, it counts imo (i didn't use any checkpoints and didn't know i was in practice mode so nerves were 100% still a factor) and i don't really feel like doing it again in normal as i am sure i would get horrible luck

anyways this level is a mix of requiring good nerve control (3 mins), straightfly skill (not me), and high cps (mainly for the 5-click bursts but you do it all throughout the level). as such it was sort of up my alley but 3 minutes made it a bit out of my comfort zone again. since i recently did unearthed i dont think it was as bad as it could have been.
however, this level was a lot more exhausting to play than unearthed. for one the aforementioned high cps does take a toll on your hand if you play for longer than an hour at a time, and also every part has some jank or inconsistency associated with it so you can never really turn your brain off for any part (which you definitely can with unearthed as some parts are breather sections)
in particular parts that could use a fix/balance patch are:
- 11-12% wave spams are tighter than they look due to reverse slopes i think
- 14% transition is ass either tighten the invis platforms so you actually land on them every time or loosen the straightfly a bit at the start
- having the top ship teleport at 19% is braindead and all it does is make the part inconsistent what the fuck was the thinking here
- reverse slope hitbox garbage again at 51%
- 62% straightfly is impossible compared to every other straightfly part int he level to the point that imo this is the hardest part of the level. not sure how i didnt die here more often from 0
- 85% wave spam is terrifying and has really bad hitboxes just to add insult to injury.
- in general the dual parts are slightly inconsistent (mainly the last one) and could do with some small nerfs imo. you could definitely compensate with buffs elsewhere as some parts are definitely easier than others
that all being said though i think the base gp is pretty alright. the predrop in particular i found pretty fun but that might just be because i like the song. my only complaint with the base gp is that there is too much straightfly for me. it feels tacked on just to increase the difficulty and some of them could have easily been replaced with something more interesting or maybe just a dash orb idk

overall this is a cautious recommend only if you are decent at high cps and can deal with all of the jank i mentioned above. i managed to enjoy it but i could see this being miserable af from 0 if you cannot consistently do 6cps gameplay for a good amount of time
