Geometry Dash - glizzy by heatherhayes (Insane Demon)
0this was the last medium length insane demon i had left so i wanted to finish it even though it is not on the top 100 shortest demons list. now i only have extreme medium length demons left to beat.
anyways this level is the worst demon in the game in my opinion for the following reasons:
- virtually nothing is consistent - any time you need to click 8-ish times to the music you can die to any click being slightly off which makes the second half a complete pain as you just need to pray you get past each dual.
- the buildup is inexcusable - it is also not consistent at all. it's clear the intention was for you to click to the song, but if you do you ALWAYS die to either the platform right after the 3rd blue orb or the last blue orb. the only thing i could do that was consistent was to wait for a split second after the 3rd blue orb so you fall off the platform and then spam hold click and hope it works (literally better consistency then clicking to the music) you get past the buildup like 1 in every 5 attempts which just sucks
- the sync is questionable in the first half - the first spider in particular feels extremely off and i found using visual cues way easier which defeats the purpose of this type of level
- the black orbs at 50-ish are very precise (both for clicking/releasing) and extremely unsatisfying to die to
- the ball at 70-ish is extremely awkward for no good reason
- the glizzy bossfight is also horrible because it is a bossfight.
overall i just hate the idea of this type of level. i'm not a huge fan of synced levels in general, and this level takes that idea to its limit with its numerous fast-click "synced" sections that inevitably results in inconsistent and unsatisfying gameplay in my opinion.
also to heatherhayes: i am joking about never using the editor again, but i still hate you for making this level lol
