Quantum Summer Cluster Workshop

Quantum information and complexity have played an important role in recent advances in quantum gravity. From the proper calculation of the entropy of Hawking radiation to the complexity=action conjecture, a recurring motif is how quantum mechanics is geometrized in quantum gravity. In these lectures, I’ll give an overview of how that occurs, aiming to go beyond pretty pictures and illustrate how some of the calculations are actually performed.
