Get Autobuild Ability Early in Zelda Tears of The Kingdom
Hey, fellow adventurers! Want to learn how to unlock the amazing Autobuild ability in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Look no further! In this guide, we'll show you the steps to obtain this handy feature early in your journey.
Autobuild is a game-changing ability that allows you to swiftly recreate vehicles without the need for manual construction using Ultrahand. Whether you want to rebuild your previous creations or follow pre-designed "blueprints" known as Schema Stones, Autobuild has got you covered.
To unlock Autobuild, you'll need to venture into the Depths, so it's advisable to start the "Camera Work in the Depths" quest to familiarize yourself with this subterranean realm and learn how to light it up for safe exploration.
As you progress through Robbie and Josha's questline, you'll eventually unlock "A Mystery in the Depths." If the quest doesn't appear right away, try completing one of the Temples as part of the Regional Phenomena quest to trigger its activation. Alternatively, you can head straight to the location indicated by the quest without completing it.
The Great Abandoned Central Mine is the key location you must find in the Depths. It is situated within the Central Hyrule Depths at coordinates -0781, -1886, -0523. Start by activating the Iayusus Lightroot in the Central Hyrule Depths, near Robbie's location for the "Camera Work in the Depths" quest. From there, proceed south to the Nihcayam Lightroot and continue south until you reach the temple-like structure of the Great Abandoned Central Mine.
Inside the mine, you'll encounter a Researcher and a Steward Construct. Interacting with them will grant you the Autobuild ability. Your next task is to repair two objects on pedestals near the stairs, demonstrating the advantages of Autobuild. Repair one manually using Ultrahand, then utilize Autobuild's History feature to repair the other, provided you have the required components nearby. If you lack the necessary resources, you can dip into your zonaite stores to complete the job.
Once the repairs are done, get ready for a thrilling encounter with Master Kohga, Leader of the Yiga Clan. Prepare for a boss battle where Kohga will utilize various vehicles in a small arena. Stay mobile and use projectiles like arrows, spears, or bomb flowers to immobilize Kohga. Take advantage of moments of vulnerability to deal heavy damage with melee weapons. Repeat this strategy for different vehicle phases until the battle concludes.
After the battle, Master Kohga will reveal their intention to head to the Southwestern Abandoned Mine, initiating the Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan quest. As a reward for your triumph, you'll receive a Huge Crystallized Charge.
Now that you've unlocked the Autobuild ability, feel free to explore the possibilities it offers. Whether you decide to head straight to the Southwestern Abandoned Mine or experiment with your newfound power, the choice is yours.
Remember, completing the "A Mystery in the Depths" quest opens up more exciting upgrades from Purah, including the Travel Medallion and Hero's Path.
