Getting Back to Basics - Day 1
It has been far too long since I have pushed my body to do what I know it's capable of. I am so grateful for every one of you within the burpee community, past and present. Every walk of life and various struggles yet you all continue to push yourselves and show up to the mat. I stalled out really hard after those 50k burpees... to a near halt. I have gotten in the occasional yoga session with my wife but I have been coasting on the easy road and now it's time to ante back up and jump back into the pit with the friends I've been missing.
My mind took a break and damn near wandered off, I am wrangling it back together and regaining control. I am also a couple of weeks free of smoke...there are pros and cons to this. My dreams are rough and going to get rougher but my lungs are probably looking like tar from the sweet devils lettuce. I may go to edibles or drops if the sleep becomes too problematic but for now I'm riding that super energetic burst of not being gorilla glued to my chair. The sets I didn't record today looked way worse than these and hours later I am still feeling it but I missed this kind of pain. Burpees will be back on the plate really soon for me as well.
I will try to get some consistent stuff up and track progress as I go, uploads or not I will be kicking my ass into gear like I'm supposed to be doing. Thank you all for the motivation you keep delivering in your own ways. Keep Inspiring us and Keep Grinding.
