Nerdarchy recently made an appearance as the keynote speakers in a gaming workshop. We did a discussion called Character Smithing. Our focus was getting into character as a player character in a role-playing game and how to bring characters alive in a RPG game. We mainly play 5e D&D, but tried to keep our talk game system neutral. Many new players struggle with the RP aspect of RPGs.
