Getting over it is a 2D game about a man in a pot whose objective is to climb up obstacles using a long hammer for movement.

The movement controls have been purposefully designed to create some of the most frustrating gameplay possible.

Each success gives you such a relief as you have conquered another difficult section of the game, but each failure can feel like utter defeat as sometimes it puts you right back at the beginning.

Along the way the narrator and creator of the game will share with you the process of development for the game, and give you some great sarcastic comments about giving up.

These in turn only serve to make you more determined to get over the next obstacle.

This review will cover some of the gaming elements you can expect, as well as a quick rundown of what i think about the game.

The game is developed by Bennett Foddy an independent developer from Australia.
