Small note on the research discussed here:
In this video I cite Teigen (1994) when discussing the Yerkes-Dodson Law, but this is actually a review on the usage of the idea over the years since it's original conception in 1908. Since then the idea has been twisted and used ambiguously past it's original intent. Even in this video I use the law in a very general and ambiguous sense.

This doesn't invalidate what I said in the video, just be aware if you are interested in this research in how it is used and misused. This paper may be a good first reading.
