We show you how to get the dungeon key and how to have fun with the hamster in Maniac Mansion. To get the rusty dungeon key, you need the cassette tape hidden behind a panel and a record found in the tentacle's bedroom. Use the wax fruit and Pepsi to get past the tentacle.
The methods apply to all versions of the game. Although the dialog and graphics had been altered to fit certain restrictions, the US version of Maniac Mansion is still fun to play on the NES, particularly for funny scenes, like stealing the hamster and talking with the tentacle.
