After yet another hiatus, I'm finally back again. After the release of the collection earlier this year, I figure it's a good time to check out the Gex franchise, which was a solid platformer that's been somewhat forgotten by time compared to the classis that launched around the same time.
The first title is actually a 2D platformer, as 3D was still in the growing phases. Still, it's a worthwhile look at a title that was more tongue-in-cheek for its time and had many references only adults would catch compared to many other platformers that aimed squarely towards children.
Also since I last uploaded, Duckstation has gone through a ton of changes to how it renders games and what you can enhance. So moving forward, I won't have my settings listed, as that would be too much to keep track of. Just understand that I'm using all the enhancements available to me to try and create the best possible graphical quality with the Vulcan renderer.
