🎮 🔥 About the Game: Ghost of Yōtei launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. Set in 1603 in Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), the game follows Atsu, a wandering mercenary left for dead by the ruthless Yōtei Six. Now reborn as an onryō, a vengeful spirit, she embarks on a journey of revenge across a frozen frontier filled with mystery, danger, and haunting beauty.

The gameplay blends open-world exploration, stealth, and fast-paced sword combat with a wide variety of weapons including dual katanas, spears, kusarigama, and even early firearms. Dynamic weather systems like snow, storms, and auroras bring the world to life, while a loyal wolf companion joins Atsu in battle and travel.

Ghost of Yōtei features multiple cinematic visual modes, including the returning Kurosawa Mode, Miike Mode for intense action, and Watanabe Mode, a unique lo-fi, anime-inspired collaboration with the director of Cowboy Bebop. Player choice defines the journey, from which of the Yōtei Six you confront first to how you explore the harsh northern landscape.

The game will be available in Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions, with pre-order bonuses including masks, charms, maps, and cosmetics. Sony is also releasing limited edition PS5 console bundles with kintsugi-inspired gold designs and sumi-e black ink brushstroke motifs, each packaged with a themed DualSense controller and exclusive in-game content.
