Ghostbusters World Episode #2 - Gameplay Fighting Ghosts & Bosses
In this Ghostbusters World gameplay video, I've extracted only the parts where I fight ghosts so you can actually see how you fight ghosts in Ghostbusters World, including two boss fights and a few in augmented reality. (AR).
Most of the fights are in Augmented Reality (AR), boss fights are in standard viewing mode (non-AR). Pay attention to the visuals, the animation, the weapon animations - I really like what I see and this really makes the gameplay more interesting to watch and engage with.
Every fight in Ghostbusters World feels different because of the unique look and behavior of each ghost. I also liked the Counter and Slam gameplay mechanic. The counter is a timed based defensive move which, once executed at the right time, allows you to block an enemy attack. It's not as easy as you might think. Some ghosts attack you in such fast pace and an in timing where you just don't expect it. Yes, I lost a few fights.
I can't wait to go out and hunt more ghosts. The gameplay is so much fun and addictive. Today I came across a funny ghost of a pilot that attacks using an airplane, it was so much fun.
About AR, you don't need to scan the ground. Sometimes I just aim the phone at the ground because I used to it in AR, but here you don't need to, as the ghosts are floating in the air and their position is relative to your phone. This means you can play the game at night without a problem (at low-light conditions) and you can start the fight straight away, which is more convenient compared to The Walking Dead; Our World which requires ground scan because the zombies are placed on the ground. It's not a big deal, but still.
I played like 2 hours and captured 60 different ghosts, some Heroic and one Legendary one. Having a blast so far and I definitely recommend downloading this game.
