Today I went out at night to play Ghostbusters World and with an intention to use the ecto-goggles item for the first time. The ecto-goggles require a battery to operate. Once you start the ecto-goggles, it gives you around 30 minutes (if I remember correctly) to locate Dark and Light element type Ghosts. This is the reason why you want to obtain those batteries because otherwise, you won't be able to obtain many of those light and dark element ghosts.

The dark and light element type ghosts appear in your immediate location, so as you move you'll discover more of these types instead of the regular ones (i.e. Earth, Fire, Water). You have a limited time, so make sure you make the best of it, like using your powerful weapons to quickly reduce the health of powerful ghosts and use advanced traps to make sure you don't waste time.

I also reached Level 20 today, which means that from now on I can discover runes while fighting ghosts, as well as use those ruins on ghosts to increase their power. There are different types of runes that correspond to different attribute enhancements. You can also enhance a rune to improve its stats. Runes can be removed and sold as well.

I also got a Legendary ghost called "Living Armor" of "Light" element type, and two Heroic-rarity type ghosts of "Dark" element type: Skin Walker and Will-o'-the-Wisp. Overall it was a very fruitful 1-hour night session. I actually like playing Ghostbusters World at night, because the visuals look great in augmented reality.
