This checkpoint took around 1 hour 30 minutes. This is from my in-progress playthrough of the first loop. I was able to despawn the boss despite getting hit. That part has to be done quick but I was able to pull it off. The final stage has 2 of these bosses and there is no way to despawn them, so that may take a while.
