Ghostwire Tokyo playthrough on Tatari difficulty Part 16 Last side quests and collectibles
NOTE: This is the last video with me trying to 100% the game before advancing with the story. I read that Chapter 4 has a "point of no return", that is why I wanted to make sure that I do every side quest and side activity to squeeze out as many achievements as possible in one go. That is why you will see a lot of exploration and me losing track of the (way too many) collectibles.
This is a new game I decided to try out and actually liked from the very beginning, despite the general hate it received on the Internet.
I remember the presentation of the game during E3 and it was a pretty dull showcase with typical language barrier of the Japanese people (I will never understand why Japan-based game developers always decide to choose a person with little to none proficiency in English to present their games to Western audiences). Still, the game had its release, received mediocre reviews but after some time, when I discovered it was available on game pass, to give it a try and decide for myself.
The game has one thing that convinced me: Japan, like a whole lot of Japan. If you like this country and live way too far away from it to be able to visit it in the nearest future, this game might be for you. From streets and shops to tiny apartments and malls - everything is soaked with cultural references and atmosphere! I do not mind the clunky shooting mechanics because I decided to play the game on the highest difficulty. Here, stealth is crucial, that is why I have a different "combat" experience.
As for the main story, nothing out of ordinary here. The side quests are where the game truly shines :)
