This December 26th at midnight CST Gamerz In Arms will be beginning a charity event for War Dogs Making it Home. The ladies and gentlemen at this amazing organization go above and beyond to provide PTSD support dogs to our veterans. They rescue shelter dogs who are on their last legs at kill shelters and give them a second chance. Through extensive training and rehabilitation, these dogs are then paired with veterans who have PTSD/TBI and in turn give them a brand new lease on life.

They are an entirely not-for-profit program who rely entirely on the donations of the community to allow both these amazing dogs and our heros to start the path of healing together. These veterans are able to make great strides toward recovery with a battle buddy by their side 24/7. They are returning to more normal lives, leaving their homes and participating in normal activities that were otherwise overwhelming to them. Their dogs give their all to support their handler. There is a certain understanding between each handler and dog. They are saving each others lives and making them better beyond what simple medication could ever hope to achieve.

War Dogs Making it Home are providing an invaluable service to our men and women in providing a service animal to those who are in desperate need. Making a huge impact on every life they touch. Both dog and handler alike.
