Giant Bee Guide for ARK: Survival Evolved
In this video I will show you how to find and tame a giant queen bee in order to make giant bee hives to collect giant bee honey! The giant bees are located in hives up redwood trees. In order to get the queen to come out of the hive you will first have to destroy it. This can be dome with any ranged weapon. I would not recommend flying dinosaurs as the bees can knock you off them with their sting. Once you have the queen bee out of the nest it is a passive tame with either rare flowers or its kibble:
Ichthyornis Kibble (1 Rare Flower, 1 Savoroot, 2 Mejoberries, 3 Fiber)
Once you tame the giant queen bee you can then turn it into a giant bee hive that can be placed on the ground at your base. The hive will produce honey as long as it has rare flowers in it to keep it healthy. Giant bee honey is used as a lure that can be thrown on the ground to attract dinosaurs. It can also be attached to the fishing rod and is used in the taming of the liopleurodon.
