I always wanted the full-on BSZ prototype. We're one step closer...
I tried taking some of the early graphic tiles and putting them in the game. The enemies are mostly easy swaps (although some, like Bubbles and Pol's Voice, can't have all their frames implemeneted), but in the ROM the enemies have tiles for their appearance in EACH DUNGEON, meaning there's up to 8 times an enemy's sprite is put in the ROM and needs to be overwritten.
Some the enemies look rather nice in this edit, while others are clearly "wrong", at least with palettes, suggesting that there was a palette makeover between builds, which is why many enemies look similar while simply having different colors.
