[Girls' Frontline] The Division Collab Cpt. 5 EX - S-ranking with 2 Flashbangs
1:10 Extraction Point EX is an extremely difficult map. If you're not well prepared, grenade everything to death. The challenge here is to use as little as possible to S-rank the map, and I managed to clear it with just 2 Flashbangs. No HOCs, no Grenades, no Turrets. I'm not dalao enough to clear this without any tools. You'll need better fairies if you're attempting that.
You will need 2 combat echelons. The first echelon is the Grenade echelon, which consists of:
416 Mod 2: A first early grenade
Soppo Mod 3: A second later grenade to clear up what 416 didn't
Mk23: Good night FP buffs
UMP45: More FP buffs for grenadiers
G11: A 3rd AR to fight. If you have another good grenadier, put her here, I guess
Taunt: Soaks up most of the damage to increase echelon survivability
The second echelon is the bossing echelon. This one is a bit more interesting, consists of:
Star Mod 3 - One of the best DPS dolls
Val Mod 2 - Her skill 1 and skill 2 make her an extremely reliable night AR
M4 Mod 3 - Buffs the other ARs and can use cannon when both tanks retreat
P22 - Great tiles, skill for buffing and shielding
HS2000 - Mainly for shielding
Artillery - Great FP and evasion buffs
The trick here is to make use of Squad Vector. Squad Vector is tough enough to take on these two mobs:
- 45k mob near your Command Post
- surprisingly, one of the 107k stack, does it better than my echelon
So we'll do just that. Turn 1 involves getting your echelons out of the Command Post area, and letting Squad Vector fight both 45k mobs around you. Then on turn 2, Squad Vector will go ahead and take out the 107k stack blocking your path. With well timed kites, proper grenade targeting and some 416 retargeting, you can clear that mob much more reliably than using your own echelon. See 2:15 for the fight. The main trick behind this fight is to gather the 5-linked enemies while letting one of the Engineers run in front. 416 will focus her fire on the Engineer and nade the 5-linked enemies. You may need a few resets to get this fight right.
From here on, the rest is RNG. Depending on your luck, you may need to fight 1-3 other mobs. These mobs cannot be taken out by Squad Vector due to the enemy spread, so you will need to use your own echelon for this. The Grenade echelon should take care of things very reliably. Move around accordingly, and get your bossing echelon towards Fang.
Fang is an easy fight for the most part. She can be defeated without a Flashbang, but you'll take more damage, and that's not good if that echelon is also fighting Hellfire. So, throw a flashbang at her. Then, move your two tanks to positions 3 and 9. They will provide vision on Fang. Once the Engineer moves in front of Fang, retarget your ARs to quickly kill the Engineer before he becomes troublesome. Then, the rest is a mixture of dodging Fang's skills, shielding from Fang's targeted blast and making sure you maintain vision on Fang to avoid retargeting. You can see the fight in 7:25
Then, capture the node. Remember to watch out for your other echelon if you want to S-rank the map (and maintain 4 AP per turn). Once this is done, hunt for Hellfire. Watch out for the deathstacks while looking for her in the top right region. Throw another Flashbang and fight her.
Now, Hellfire is tricky. What you'll want to do first is to put one doll at pos 3 and one doll at pos 5. When she stops, that will be her position for the rest of the fight as long as there is a doll in the front column. This is very important in controlling Hellfire's targeting. At that position, Hellfire will not target your backline, be it her regular shots or her skills. This will greatly improve your sanity throughout the fight.
Then, move the doll on position 5 to position 2. This is another crucial step - you will need the Engineer to move in front of Hellfire! Then, retarget all your ARs. They will then start shooting the walls, and then the Engineer as well as the turrets he sets up. This is a very important step to improve your chances of winning. The longer the Engineer survives, the more likely you'll fail this fight.
During that time, watch out for Hellfire's grenades. She can target any doll in the front 2 columns at the position you stopped her earlier, and ideally you want her to target the front column so that you don't need to move your ARs. Move your tanks to avoid the flames, and then once the flame dies out, quickly move the middle column doll back to the front column if you want to ensure that Hellfire throws the molly on the front column. An example of this technique can be seen in 10:30. If you forget and get the middle column targeted, you will end up having to move your ARs, as seen in 10:52.
The rest is then just an endurance fight. Keep on dodging the mollies while you kill her. Warning: neither Fang nor Hellfire is considered a boss. If you don't want to lose affection, make sure your dolls don't die!
Note: I can S-rank Hellfire with this team, if I resetted for better RNG
