[Girls' Frontline] Theater 8 Advanced 6 - Equal Damage Distribution
So, there were over 5800 pepegas yesterday that did Advanced 5 instead of Elementary 8, huh? Rip everyone who threw away 15k points for no good reason.
Anyway, because of these pepegas, we're playing Advanced 6 twice today. Unless one of the following occurs:
- you fail to beat Advanced 8 (you do Intermediate 8 twice)
- your Intermediate 8 stack is higher than your Advanced 6 stack, through some unholy wizardry (you do 1 Advanced 8 and 1 Intermediate 8)
Like all other strongholds, Advanced 6 is an Electronic stage. The objectives of each wave are:
- beat the wave
- make sure every doll in your echelon does not deal more than 50% of all damage in a wave. HOCs, however, are not restricted by this requirement. (Mica pls why is this mistranslation still not fixed)
- no RFs used in battle
Each objective gives 2k points, and there are 6 waves, which gives you up to 36k points. You can get up to 38288 Theater CE, so the theoretical max score for Advanced 6 is 74288. With the 100% bonus in your first run, you can get up to 148576 points.
The battlefield effects of this stage are:
- Increase crit rate and crit damage by 30%
- The echelon leader gets -90% stats
- Increase damage against enemies within a 3-unit distance by 20%
The CE stacking in this stage is a test of:
- how many random ARs you raised in the past year or so. If you're a serious ranker in the past year, this value is probably close to 0
- how many PEQs, HV ammo and Chips you have obtained, leveled and calibrated. ARs lose a lot of CE if you're missing any one of these equipment (especially PEQs, each PEQ gives over 600 CE in this stage)
For those coping, you probably will be:
- using more SMGs
- using T-exos on ARs (yes, it's better CE than X-exos)
- Using green PEQs or green HV ammo
A top tier CE stack on Advanced 6 uses:
- 19 ARs and 1 SMG
- Dreamer with Night Vision chip, BGM and AGS for HOC stacking
Maxed SF HOCs have better CE on this stage than G&K HOCs. However, there's a catch! You need a Night Vision accuracy chip in order to get the full CE of SF HOCs. Therefore, you can only equip 1 SF HOC without losing CE (without the Night Vision accuracy chip, SF HOCs have lower CE). Also, there's an issue with SF HOCs getting their CE: you need to follow these steps to remove their night debuff:
- Go to Home Screen, and select Formation
- Put your SF HOC in one of the echelons
- Equip the Night Vision accuracy chip
- Go back to Theater formation page, and select the SF HOC. Keep the SF HOC in your regular Formation
This should give you the full CE for the SF HOC, with night debuff removed (which is over 250 CE). There are 3 SF HOCs: Dreamer, Destroyer and Architect. Among these 3, assuming all maxed, Dreamer has the best CE.
As for the fights themselves? Easy. This video is proof that you don't even need fairy skills or HOCs to assist you in the fights. However, a HOCless Advanced 6 run is much harder than it needs to be. This is because you run the risk of having one AR do more than 50% of all damage, causing you to fail an objective. You will have to manage your dolls' damage output accordingly, and kite/retreat any AR that does too much damage. Either that, or you will have to use ARs that roughly have equal damage output in your combat echelon.
Or you can take the easy route and use a HOC on every fight. Problem solved.
