Glasspack Cherry Bomb Muffler Install Cheap
25In this video, I installed a Thrush Cherry Bomb on my 2003 Ram 2500 with the 5.7L Hemi V8. The install was very easy and the parts were very cheap. I paid less than $75 for everything. This is the best bang for buck performance muffler install I've seen. I have done straight pipe muffler deletes in the past but in my state, you need a muffler to pass inspection. I have had this truck for over a year and a half and just kept the stock muffler. I tow and make long-distance trips regularly with it. While the stock muffler had been patched already the new hole was significantly bigger and spreading fast. My inspection date was only a week away so I decided to go ahead and put a new muffler in. If you think I was gonna put a stock one back in you'd be wrong. Went and picked up a cherry bomb for $42 bucks and grabbed a few other pieces shown in the video. Took me a little over an hour to do the whole thing and boy was it worth it. The truck sounds amazing. It is a little louder than I anticipated, this truck is just louder than other vehicles I have put cherry bombs on (2007 Chevy Silverado w/ 5.3) but that's okay. The drone is real bad at 2000 RPM though, that's the only part I do not like. Towing long distances is going to get tiresome. Passed inspection yesterday with the new set up so we are good to go for another year on the old girl, though does only have 60k miles for an 03, not bad. Let me know if you have any questions.
