Glitched Speedruns EP2 (READ DESCRIPTION) ZELDA 2
At first im sorry about my shitty english, but hope you understand!
I spent almost 5 months to complete this speedrun, and worked everyday about 2-3 hours with this crap :D basicly this is toolassisted speedrun on real nes.
Okay, This is not normal speedrun. First i was trying to play this one single run, but i figured early that its impossible. I had to use save feature and play this in three parts and edited in one. "But i wast use the second controller restart method" few unnecessary deaths, it doesn't matter i cant even think about to playing this glitch run again without deaths! few times i had to die to get full magic meter, because fairy spell uses all magic.
First code deactivate the effect of great palace's force field if you first walk forward right front it and the few steps backward.
the second combo code create warping and moving glitches, its almost same warping effect what happens "Toolassisted Speed Runs"
when you push left and right at same time. with these codes sometimes link does upward thrust accidentaly.
Segment 1: Death Mountain + Hammer
i wanted play the hardest part at first, i spent a 2 months to record only this segment. its nearly impossible playing the cave parts without candle, you must remember almost every step what you take.
Segment 2: Jump Spell, Downward thrust, Fairy Spell + "Powerglove"
This was pretty easy part, i spend only 3 weeks to complete this one. Jump Spell is needed whe you need to learn down thrust. downward thrust, Fairy spell and power glove is needed in final palace.
Segment 3: Final Fight & Glitch Caves
this segment was pretty hard too, you must use fairy spell on few parts, roof level at one cave and very end of final palace.
First i tried to glitch my way through thunderbird boss but i cannot do. it always spawn and you cant kill him because you dont have thunder spell. after three weeks i found way to get roof level at one room before thunderbird, i tried fairy glitch there and pow it worked.
Shadow link is easier than normally, the codes effects to he same way as you. sword level 1 takes damage on shadowlink same
ammount as level 8 so you dont need master your sword, not even if you play without cheats.
ThankS, and i hope you understood me :D
