After a bit of deliberations and checks of available Jobs i decide I do not like any of the Rewards so much to do a Job so we will do a new Relic Hunt called Staff Meeting. After checking enemies we decide to keep our current party. We spend some time checking Cards and Items and notice we unlocked a new class, the Summoner. We check the Lore and Cards but decide to bench it for now. We will try it out soon I hope but for this mission I need a strong team. At least I think so anyway. We also buy the last item Quartermaster needs to unlock his Perk so we unlock and pick that as well and of we go to get the Relic. Hopefully it is a good one :).

We start the Mission with a Warning to kill the Shamans as soon as possible because they have muddle and poison on each attack. We will try :). First room has 5 enemies, big ones, 2 of them shamans, all really high hp. Well time to start hitting. We needed 11 Rounds to clear everything and get ready to open the next Room. We started using Marching Beat card from Soothsinger to do so. It is pretty nice. We open the Room on Soothsingers turn from 3 range away on a character standing next to the Door and then we get a turn on that Character as well. This lets us to Move, attack and Move back out and some other interesting combinations. It really makes opening Doors much safer and easier. I like it :).

Second Room has 8 Enemies in it. Ouch. It is the last one though. So basically it is Room 2 and 3 combined with maybe 2 less Enemies total to compensate but it does not feel like winning the lottery, at all. Time to throw down some Rocks to funnel them Archers and Shamans or we will go home in disgrace with bunch of Arrows sticking out from our behinds...

We use all the knowledge we know. We use Rocks, Stuns, Disarms, well anything we have really to limit the incoming damage while trying to slowly and surely kill the Opposition. It is a nasty grind but it is going in our Favour so that is great. Finally on Round 30 we are done. Soothsinger got tired around 25 or so, his low Pool of cards does not really let it go much further without some strong Card resets which we did not really setup yet.

The reward? Staff of Xorn. This is really an amazing Item. It ads Poison and Muddle to the whole attack action. It is amazing on abilities like Dirt Tornado, or anything really that hits multiple targets, especially the Poison part. It will be hard to decide if we use it on Cragheart or wait.

Oh, and the name of the Mission... Staff Meeting. Get it? Hah! yea...

Anyhow a great Relic Hunt, quite happy about this one indeed.
