As a huge fan of the first, I didn't know what to expect from Darkest Dungeon 2 after they announced they were developing a different game. Luckily, I am already a huge fan of the rogue genre so this hit a nice spot for me.

Unlike the first, you are developing a single party over an expedition. No longer is it dungeon to dungeon but rather it's a journey, not a sprint. I love this concept and how they presented the carriage ride, even adding ways to upgrade the carriage on the way.

The graphics are beautiful and the animations are ridiculously fluid. It is stunning the first time you play it.
