GM Jesse Kraai on the art of analyzing your own games
1,373Jesse Kraai is a man whom IM Sagar Shah immensely respects. Of course his achievements command that respect - Jesse is a GM, a Ph.D and also an author. But more than that he greatly shaped Sagar's understanding of game of chess.
As a youngster trying to improve, Sagar found Jesse Kraai's philosophy of chess as something that he could relate to. One of the most important advices that Jesse would almost always give for chess improvement was - Analyze your own games! And he would say it over and over again in different lectures, in different interviews, podcasts, training seminars.
