(Gmod) Bad Joke: Switch Online Service
9Yes. I said bad for a reason. I quickly made this because we are at the point that everyone is mad/upset about this service.
Online behind a pay wall. I kinda understand because of Dedicated Servers on the Xbox 360/One and PS4. But Switch, it mostly out 1st party games (like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2) uses Peer-to-Peer and that's stupid. We are paying for our internet not just once, bu this $20 extra nonsense.
NES Online. I do like the idea to play classic games with friends, but why only NES. Did Nintendo do anything? Any length at all to get the our classics that we won't. Smells like a FAT NO. Even in the background what they are doing to rom/emulator sites. Yes, in their right it is their games. But at the same time, is it worth the effort to go so far? Especially how people are treating your service before it officially started.
Cloud Saves. Ok, fine. We finally got what we wanted...sort of. Only few games not eligible. Why? Other consoles and Steam allowed to save every game you have to their cloud. Why not you? Because of Cheaters? If you are worried that bad about cheaters online. Make game saves that only have local/single player only and the major secure stuff as online saves like the rest. That way, you can prevent this more easily and add more security in the process if any cheats come into play when going online or local. That way, people like us don't get punish that cheaters do. FIX THIS PRONTO!!!!
Smartphone App.... It's stupid, garbage, and waste of time. Enough said. Everyone already ask for an actual community voice chat ON THE CONSOLE. But nope. You want to push more on the Switch app on the mobile. It's a but of crap. I only like it because I use the Splatnet to get special gear and check the map and salmon run rotation and that's it. Make a seperate app for Just Splatnet and an actual app like PS4 and Xbox where you can browse the store and such. But nope. Just a clunky piece of trash that no one wants.
Special Features. We waited for a good amount to know what the Special Features was. All you gave us. A glow animation of a box and you tell us later nonsense. That's stupid that you won't tell us much on this, especially how close we are for your service. Only 2 things we know is the NES controllers, which is behind a paid wall, to get them and they cost a lot for such retro controllers with Bluetooth. If I were anyone, I rather you guys choose 8BitDo or other retro like Bluetooth controllers that work with the Switch and play your classic games that way. 8BitDo's NES controllers I saw, during this video, cost only $25 and I heard that they are very good. I would go for them more. And also known that you get a specail gear in Splatoon 2 when you do buy the membership. I was hoping more then just 1 in-game item for this "Special" Features for many of the games and such for the Switch, but nope once again.
In all. This service is idea is terrible. Can't believe it took Nintendo (well, mostly Nintendo of Japan) an extra year to get this done right. And failed. I heard Nintendo of America tried to explain the service and even they can't give out much because of what Japan was giving them (for what I heard)
Enough of my rant. I know many others have their ideal thoughts and choices about this service and I can't blame them.

I also hope Rich is ok to use his voice clip that he did in that parody video he did recently. From what he said was perfect and had to be in this video just for fun and laughs.
