When Valve made the first maps for Half-Life 2, back in the early 2000s, they also ported some
Half-Life 1 maps to Source Engine, with Half-Life 2 NPCs. Those maps are a tribute to old beta maps.
Imagine a Hazard Course full of Combines, Xen Aliens, Alyx instead of the holograms,
Kleiner instead of Black Mesa Scientists, Barney instead of... "barneys", etc... Enjoy!

What are the Chba Maps?
The Chba Maps, are maps created in Garry's Mod, and inspired (mostly) by Half-Life 2 Beta and other Cut Content from Valve games.
All those maps are created by Childeric_Bantu, and some,
with the help or ideas of AymericTheNightmare.
Various characters and items from the Beta are used, even the maps.
Sounds and Music is added in post-production.
There are no gunfights, to keep a great atmosphere.
We made what we want to see. This is our vision of the HL2 Beta.
This series is like an extension of the HL2 Beta. Imagination is limitless.
