Gnoppix comes with some penetration testing and reverse engineering tools, Gimp image editor Nikto web browser, Nuclei browser, Deluge BitTorrent client, Clapper music player and gnome-firmware updater. VComing with GNOME 44 as the default desktop environment, the new version comes as a heavily tweaked version. Saying that they are proud to announce Gnoppix 23.5, Mueller; stated that the release includes many new features and improvements, including extensive bug fixes and improved performance, as well as support for the latest hardware and software. It is stated that users around the world can now enjoy the full power of Gnoppix, regardless of their language or location, and that this is a version in which almost all firmware packages have been upgraded, including the latest hardware drivers. It is stated that Gnoppix, which allows encrypted backups of the installed (live) system, comes with a backup GUI added, while multiple problems with Gnoppix-soundtheme are said to have been fixed. The system, which is licensed under the GNU General Public License 2 or higher, aspires to be a 100% open source system.
