Saraswat stated that blendOS now follows a flavor and remix system where remixes are community developed variants of blendOS; he said the user can use the official blendOS build webpage to easily create and submit their own blendOS remix with custom packages (including a selected desktop environment or window manager). The new release, available with versions of a GNOME using GNOME 43.4 and a KDE Plasma using KDE Plasma 5.27, It offers an almost vanilla experience, along with an automatic grouping system based on the “GNOME Dash Fix” project. blendOS 2023.04.22
